In the 1910s Franz Frohse (University of Berlin) created a series of anatomical wall charts which became widely used internationally because of their accuracy and clarity. When the First World War interrupted supplies to America, the original drawings were edited by Max Brodel of John Hopkins University, who continued to add to the series up to 1939.

The dimensions are a huge massive height of 1800 mms and width of 1050 mms with a rod at the top and a wooden pole at the base. It takes up a whole wall!
